Szirak Castle Hotel ****

Location

Szirak is an ancient village in North Hungary only 75 km far from the Hungarian capital. Nestling in Cserhat Mountains as well as easily accessible on M3 highway exciting at Hatvan and then driving towards Jobbagyi.

Hotel

The castle has a rich history, in the place of the building once there stood a hospital fortress of the Johannita Knights. In the mid of the 18th century the castle was built and owned by the Teleki Family. The rooms and the interiors were renovated in 2002, elevator is not available. The hotel offers 24-hour reception, free, guarded car park, Internet corner, safe, fax and photocopy. The restaurant (open between 12:00 pm and 22:00 pm) offers a wide range of mouth-watering local and international specialities and is happy to meet the needs of those on special diets. The restaurant is suitable for special occasions and banquets of 100 persons while the ball room, the gallery, the small conference room, the salon and the casino can be perfect venues for conferences and other business events of 10-100 persons. The large park of the hotel is very popular amoung young couples who would like to hold their wedding in quiet and beautiful surroundings. Pets are not allowed.

Rooms

Guests can be accommodated in the main building or in the annexe. Each room is airconditioned and equipped with a private bathroom (bathtub), hairdryer, television (with satellite channels) and wireless Internet connection. The Suites consists of a bedroom and a living room area and have the amenities of standard rooms. The floor is parquetted and partly carpetted. Non-smoking rooms and rooms for the disabled can be booked. Room service is available between 12:00 pm and 21:00 pm.
