Location

Fried Castle Hotel *** is situated in Simontornya, which is in the South-Western part of Hungary, in Tolna county, near to Sio Canal. The village is located about 120 kilometres far from Budapest and 50 kilometres from Szekszard. Lake Balaton can be approached easily (it is only 40 kilometres far).

Hotel

The history of the castle dates back to the early 20th century. The beautiful, secession style castle was the home of the Fried Family, who owned the biggest leather factory of its age. The castle is surrounded by a splendid French park. After a total renovation process, the castle hotel opened its door in 2005. Closed parking lot, safe (at the reception), Internet corner, WIFI Internet access, baby-sitting service and laundry are at guests’ disposal. Pets welcome.

Rooms

All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom (shower or bathtub), hairdryer, bathrobes, telephone, television, minibar and wireless Internet access. Some rooms are airconditioned and have a balcony. The airconditioned suites consist of a spacious living room and a bedroom, they also have a balcony. Nonsmoking and anti-allergic rooms can be requested. Two rooms on the ground floor were specially designed for the disabled. 24-hour room service.
