Batthyany Castle Hotel ***

Location

Zalacsany is in the western part of Hungary, in the heart of a beautiful thermal valley. The village was the property of the Csanyi Family until the mid 1800's. The aquifer in the vicinity of the village serves now as a popular leisure center. Heviz is located only 8 kilometres, Keszthely is 14 kilometres far.

Hotel

The castle was built in the 1700's, it became the property of the Batthyany Family in the 1800's. The family extended the building and refurbished in Baroque style. The latest renovation took place in 2000 attaining its present appearance. The hotel complex is in a 300-year-old park, which provides an ideal place for a relaxing walk or a picnic. Closed parking lot, 24-hour reception, safe (at the reception), WIFI Internet access in the lobby, car rental and program organising service are at guests' disposal. The restaurant with its international cuisine and grill dinner – during the summer period – means a real culinary delight. The hotel can organise wedding ceremonies and parties making a life-long experience not only for the engaged couple (church and civil weddings, dinner, live music, fireworks, „bride dance”). The castle offers two conference rooms (for 100 persons) with technical equipment (flipchart, overhead projector, television, video and CD players, projector, interpreter machine upon request).

Rooms

All rooms of the castle reflect the style of the 1800's, they are nonsmoking and equipped with bathroom (bathtub or shower), bathrobes, hairdryer and television. Some rooms have a balcony. We offer the spacious apartments of the Villapark – situating next to the main building – for families and groups. These apartments have one or two bedrooms, a living room, a kitchenette and a bathroom. Room service can be requested between 12:00 pm and 21:00 pm.
